Emergency Response

Emergency Response

NCTS provides emergency response services across the northern regions to address crisis situations and assists with debriefing and counselling clients in the event of accidents, deaths, trauma, or illness.

Counselling support services are for different durations: short term (1 month or less), medium term (1-2 months) and long-term staffing support (3 months plus) as well as short fly-in trips to remote communities and large-scale event support.

Workplace Crisis Response

NCTS understands the impact of trauma caused by violence, accidents, death, injury, illness and suicide on workplaces and employees. We also recognize that there are different levels and approaches to responding to traumatic incidents.

We provide debriefing services for employees in the event of worksite accidents, deaths or trauma, or the loss of employees through an illness.

NCTS also helps organizations to establish internal resources to encourage peer-to-peer interventions and support, recognizing that employees are often first responders to emergency incidents in the workplace. This program includes training and self-care exercises.
