NCTS has extensive experience providing clinical services to address addiction in northern communities, with evidence-based best practices that are tailored to meet the individual client’s needs. NCTS provides these services for a variety of populations and both in- and out-of-territory. Services are offered in person, by phone and telehealth.
NCTS counsellors are trained in addictions counselling and treatment for a wide variety of addictions and have a particular understanding of how addictions issues may be concurrent with other, diagnosable problems such as experiences of trauma, depression, or anxiety.

NCTS clinicians are highly experienced in advocating for and facilitating residential treatment where needed. This is often achieved by working in collaboration with staff and community-based healing and friendship centers.
