Child and Youth Mental Health

NCTS provides counselling and psychological assessments for a wide range of presenting problems and diagnosed mental health disorders .

These include but are not limited to:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorders, Conduct Disorders
  • Pervasive Developmental Disorders, self and other aggressive behaviours,
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Depression

NCTS provides counselling, psycho-educational assessments, urgent intervention, and school-based consultations for children and youth.

NCTS assists School-Based Teams in creating and implementing a wide range of intervention strategies.

These include but are not limited to:

  • Independent Education Plans
  • Behaviour Modification Plans
  • Care and Safety Plans
  • Critical Incident Reports

NCTS is experienced in acting as a mediating body and liaison between children and families, greater care community (Psychologists, Aboriginal Support Workers, Social Workers), and schools.
